Ever since I was a kid, I've been obsessed with music: constantly on the hunt for hidden gems, niche sounds, and wild genre mashups. I'd spend hours wandering through CD shops, sampling random tracks, and buying albums on impulse, sometimes just because the cover looked cool, without even listening first. Risky? Absolutely. But that's how I discovered some of my all-time favorites.
Fueled by dreams of making my own music, I bought a synthesizer, convinced I was about to compose the next masterpiece. Reality hit fast: I was terrible. Undeterred, I picked up a guitar. Failure. Then the drums. Even worse: my hands and feet refused to sync with what my brain imagined. My head was full of sounds, but my body had no idea how to get them out.
But I didn't give up. Instead, I pivoted. I got my hands on a sampler, then a sequencer, and suddenly things started clicking. I was grabbing snippets from movies, chopping up sounds, looping eerie dialogue into beats, and mixing tracks together like a mad scientist. I started with hardcore techno, then spiraled into all sorts of chaotic experiments: techno metal, aggressive big beat, mind-melting distortion... Yeah, I was still young and up for anything.
These days, I primarily use Apple Logic Pro, and I love it. The creative possibilities are endless; what a time to be making music! This page is a collection of albums and soundtracks I've been involved in, whether composed by me or by other insanely talented artists. No matter who made them, they all share one thing: I played a part in bringing them to life.
Pilotwings - Soaring in Harmony is a smooth, jazz-infused reorchestration of the original Pilotwings soundtrack from the Super Nintendo era. Featuring warm Fender Rhodes keys, soulful saxophones, and soft flutes, the music captures the perfect balance between relaxation and exhilaration, just like the game itself.
While staying true to the original's laid-back charm, this version introduces a new element: jazzy vocals, produced with Synthesizer V Studio Pro. This addition brings a fresh, atmospheric layer to the tracklist, seamlessly fitting the game's dreamy vibe. The Bonus Game theme takes a fun detour, with child-like vocals to match its playful, high-energy spirit.
Produced in Apple Logic Pro, this album is a faithful yet refreshed take on a timeless SNES classic. Whether you're gliding through the skies or just unwinding, Soaring in Harmony delivers a soundtrack that lets you drift away.

Pocky & Rocky - Yokai Rock reimagines the iconic Pocky & Rocky soundtrack, first composed by Hiroyuki Iwatsuki for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1992. The game follows a shrine maiden (Pocky) and her tanuki companion (Rocky) as they battle mischievous yokai in a fast-paced, top-down action shooter.
Using Apple Logic Pro, I fused the ethereal tones of koto and shakuhachi with the raw energy of electric guitars and punchy percussion, giving these iconic melodies a bold, cinematic edge. The result? A soundtrack that stays true to the original while embracing a fresh, dynamic rock flair - hence the name Yokai Rock!

A journey through time, one track at a time. Rewind: Rough Cuts & Lost Sounds is a 24-track compilation spanning decades of experimentation, evolution, and, let's be honest, questionable creative choices. From raw young adult breakbeats to more polished compositions, this album is like digging through an old box of mixtapes, rediscovering forgotten gems, and cringing at a few lost files that only survived as low-bitrate MP3s.
Some tracks were rescued from aging CDRs, others from cassette tapes, and a handful were lucky to escape total oblivion. Along the way, you'll hear my early attempts at electronic music, a dive into breakbeat and big beat, and eventually, more personal compositions crafted with tools like Audacity, Reason, Music 2000, GarageBand, and Logic Pro.
It's messy, it's nostalgic, and it's a time capsule of my musical journey.
I wrote a dedicated page about this compilation, because each piece has a story to tell.

The Bubble Islands soundtrack is as vibrant, playful, and energetic as the game itself! Composed by the incredibly talented Steven 'surasshu' Velema and Frédéric Robinson, this collection of 14 bubbly, upbeat tracks perfectly captured the game's cheerful and colorful world. With catchy melodies and lively rhythms, the music brought extra charm to the arcade-puzzle action.
Originally released in 2008, the soundtrack got a special 15th-anniversary mixture edition, featuring three additional bonus tracks rescued from the depths of my personal archives! Now with 17 tracks, this enhanced edition is the ultimate way to experience the joyful, pink-infused sounds of Bubble Islands all over again!

The Forgotten Myths soundtrack is a love letter to the golden age of 8-bit gaming, composed by the incredibly talented Joel 'Tadpole' Baker and Hiru 'Tsu Ryu' H. Diaz. Created originally in .nsf format, these tracks weren't just inspired by NES music - they were built to run on actual NES hardware, ensuring an authentic chiptune experience.
From epic adventure themes to atmospheric dungeon tunes, every track was crafted to capture the essence of classic NES-era platformers. Forgotten Myths may have remained a prototype, but thanks to its stellar soundtrack, it still echoes the spirit of the 8-bit legend that inspired it.

The Huit Bougies (Eight Candles) soundtrack is an intense, industrial soundscape designed to unsettle and disturb. Created in real time alongside the film's editing, this collection of 20 audio tracks blends raw noise, distorted screams, and eerie soundscapes to enhance the psychological horror of the story.
Using Audacity, a free, open-source audio editor, I layered found noises, industrial hardcore fragments, and oversaturated effects to craft a nightmarish atmosphere. Every sound is meticulously timed to the film's visuals, making the soundtrack an integral part of the experience.

The video, locked in a nostalgic 320x240 resolution, is a bit of a pain to watch nowadays. The soundtrack, however, survives in pristine, lossless WAV files.
